A Retro Video Game Event for Charity
In benefit of Light House Mission
April 5th 2014, 11am-9pm
Sturgeon Heights Community Centre
210 Rita St (Near PNP Portage)
Admission: ONLY $5/person (children 6 and under free)

We'll be featuring an entire day of retro video game and related vendors, a large open retro gaming arcade, tournaments hosted by ChipDamage (Winnipeg's competitive fighting game group) and RGCW, prizes, a charity silent auction, food and more attractions to come! Stay tuned to the Facebook page for more updates!

 We'll be encouraging attendees to bring much needed supplies to help out Winnipeg's longest running homeless shelters (more details to be announced!). They'll get free ballots to our sponsor donated silent auctions (prizes to be announced). The more you bring, the more you'll get!

On April 25th we're holding (with PNP Games help) the first ever Amiibo's Free-for-All tournament. You'll be able to register your Amiibos at RGU2 to face off against other local trainers, winner takes all with grand prizes valuing over $75 each and a pretty slick "trophy" from Retro Gamers Winnipeg. Nerdhaven Collectables has been fuelling Winnipeg's geek-culture community, appearing at conventions all year round. Make sure to catch them at #RetroGamersUnite April 5th 2014.
