Retro Gamers Unite to Support Lighthouse Mission

Winnipeg's retro video game community will unite April 5th 2014 to not only celebrate classic gaming, but collectively support the city's first and longest running mission. Lighthouse Mission has been supporting Winnipeg's inner city since 1911, providing meals, clothing and supports to our city's less fortunate for over a century.

 On April 5th 2014, we will host Retro Gamers Unite! It's slated to be an all day event complete with retro gaming, vendors, tournaments, prizes and more! Our primary goal will be to raise supplies and funds to support Lighthouse Mission's ongoing efforts.

The Super Donation Silent Auction
Attendees will be encouraged to bring donations for our food hamper and clothing drive. In exchange, we will be giving out ballots for our Silent Auction style prizes from our sponsors and vendors. There will be no limit, the more you bring (of good stuff), the more you'll get! (Donate to Win! Click HERE!)

Event Proceeds
All funds raised after covering event costs will be directly donated to Lighthouse Mission.

Awareness
Maybe just as important as donations, we want to make people aware to create a culture giving and supporting our city's less fortunate. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." This is our first of many events we want to hold for charity. Our goal is to continue to grow and make a bigger impact for Winnipeg.

Our planning committee is working hard to make this a successful event for everyone! Help us spread the word, come out April 5th, have fun and support a good cause. Thank you!
