From our "Super Awesome and Free" Silent Auction to the Gamer Lounge, Tournaments and the mounds of Prizes, here's a run down of all the gnarly activities available on April 5th!

A Run Down on All the Activities April 5th!

The Super Awesome Door Prize!
A door-prize of pure awesomeness! As a thank you for buying your tickets early from PNP Games and RGCW, everyone who bought a pre-sale ticket can enter to win this Nintendo Action Set IN BOX (Valued over $120)

From retro video games, collectables, toys, t-shirts, swag and more! Our vendors are selling it all! A radical buffet for new and old retro collectors! 25 Tables worth!


The Gamer Lounge
Our volunteers have donated their time and equipment to help Winnipeg celebrate all these classic video games! We have multiple gaming stations hooked up to good old "Boob Tube" TVs. Come out and play for fun, a friendly match, participate in the RETRO CHALLENGE or win prizes just for coming to play! (P.S. Children always win prizes!) =D
Enter either our first SUPER SMASH MELEE 2on2 Championship or one of the many tournaments hosted by ChipDamage, you could win great prizes including PNP Gift Certificates, Collectable Figures, Artist Prints and more!!!


To raise supplies for Lighthouse Mission
We've finalized our list of all the great prizes you could win April 5th! The main way you can get tickets is to bring donations of non-perishable or pre-packged food and/or good useable clothing for Lighthouse Mission and you'll get tickets proportional to your donation! There'll be other ways to get tickets too! Click Here for more! (we've updated the guidelines for our donations)

Attempt to set Winnipeg's best scores, win great prizes and become immortalized on RGCW's online Leader boards! Ask a staff member April 5th on how to participate!
Every gamer gots to get their grub on! Our canteen will feature all the standard food fare including pizza, energy drinks and more!

Our RGCW Crew will be handing out tons of FREE prizes throughout the day in the Gaming Lounge... But you might have to work for it! Either challenge one of our "RGCW Game Masters", participate in one of the many free single elimination tournaments or have a friendly match with other attendees! (P.S. Children always win!)



There will be more activities April 5th! Make sure you buy your ticket now at all event sponsors while tickets last. We want everyone to come out to celebrate retro video games! 

This is our group's first event! We've done it with YOU in mind, Gamers4Gamers (#G4G)! We want to celebrate retro video games in Winnipeg while raising support for Lighthouse Mission. All supplies gathered and a portion of the proceeds will be going to Lighthouse Mission. Thank you for your support! Remember, Retro Gamers Winnipeg is a Not-For-Profit, volunteer based fan group.

Nerdhaven Collectables has been fuelling Winnipeg's geek-culture community, appearing at conventions all year round. Make sure to catch them at #RetroGamersUnite April 5th 2014. They'll be selling an array of items including some Japanese video game character figures from PVCs to Figams and Nendoroids (plus a whole lot more!). If you have any questions, just ask them  ...
