Winnipeg Retro Video Gamers Raise Money and Donations for Lighthouse Mission

RGCW Coordinators Nate and Ed with Lighthouse Mission's crew.
We just finished delivering 500lbs of donations for Winnipeg's less fortunate!

On April 5th 2014, retro video game fans gathered at Retro Gamers Unite, Winnipeg's first retro video game convetntion in support of the city's longest running homeless shelter, Lighthouse Mission. They raised over $1500 and 500 pounds of food and clothing donations for Winnipeg's less fortunate. Operation Manager Joel Cormie and Administrative Assistant J'Lynn Johnson were overwhelmed and very thankful to Winnipeg's retro video game community for their generosity! They said it best, you (the retro video game community) didn't just deliver money, food and clothing... you delivered hope, and that's worth more than gold!

Thank you to everyone's support of Lighthouse Mission

BE PROUD Winnipeg Video Game Community! You did something amazing! THANK YOU!
