At this year's Retro Gamers Unite 2015 - Apr 25 2015 - will feature a BIGGER and BETTER retro video game area free to come and play some of the greatest games ever or come and compete in one the many tournaments and challenges...


The Super Smash Bros 2on2 Tournament
Last year's Super Smash Melee team champions! Great prizes, great times!
-Last year we had over 110 people come out for our first ever Super Smash Bros Melee tournament sponsored by PNP Games and RGCW. This year we have more room dedicated to Super Smash Melee including multiple tournament and prep stations and free to play fun games from other attendees. You can check out the general guidelines here with specific details coming soon!



With the overwhelming response, we've made MORE retro gaming room for more fun!
Chip Damage Area
-Chip Damage is Winnipeg's fighting game scene ambassadors (and really nice guys to get advice from). Last year they held tournaments for games such as Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and more! They'll be in attendance again this year so be sure to check them out!


Free Open Gaming
We heard you last year! MORE ROOM, MORE RETRO, MORE FUN! This year we have larger capacity for more and more retro gaming. Come on down, play the classics, win some prizes!

The RGCW Challenges
With the great reception from last year's Mario 1-Life run and Super Mario Kart Time Trial, we're doing it again this year! Set Winnipeg's best score and win some prizes!

On April 25th we're holding (with PNP Games help) the first ever Amiibo's Free-for-All tournament. You'll be able to register your Amiibos at RGU2 to face off against other local trainers, winner takes all with grand prizes valuing over $75 each and a pretty slick "trophy" from Retro Gamers Winnipeg. We're already confirmed a Gold Edition Mario Amiibo as PART of the grand prize for one of our tournaments from PNP Games (there will be more added to the grand prizes of course).
