RGCW's Amiibo Guidelines

 

With the popularity of Amiibos from Nintendo, there has been request for Amiibo Tournaments at future RGCW events. We're more than happy to oblige and have set forward the following guidelines to ensure everyone's enjoyment!

As with all RGCW events, we encourage a family friendly atmosphere as much as possible. Fairness and the spirit of fun are of the highest importance. Respect to the RGCW staff, attendees and other participants is expected. Behavior including, but not limited to swearing, unfair play, fighting, bullying are prohibited and could result in ejection from the venue without refund. RGCW staff have final say on all decisions. 

These following guidelines should be expected at RGCW Amiibo Tournaments, but may vary event to event. Tournaments will be played on the Nintendo WiiU Super Smash Bros. game.

-Participants must register themselves and their selected Amiibo character before the tournament begins. Entry requirements will vary at each event.

-Unless specified, there is no level limit to Amiibos and there is no restriction to how you "train" you Amiibo.

-Items generally will be set to off and matches will be determined at each event (i.e. 8vs8, 6vs6) and as the tournament progresses.

-Single or double elimination guidelines will be set prior to each tournament.
