"What is a Retro Gamers Meet?" In the future, one of the ways I want to grow our community and spread some "buzz" before an actual convention is to organize "meets" (like a "mini-convention"). Want to meet fellow retro (and current) video game fans? Want to buy/sell/trade games? Want to "jam" and play some classic games or even compete in a tournament for awesome prizes? What is Retro Gamers Convention Winnipeg? We are a group of video game fans in Winnipeg and we want to help host Winnipeg's first retro video game convention. With the surge in retro and current generation gaming,  this would seem a natural evolution, but there are many steps to do before actually getting a convention up and running. We want to build this community, hold some special events, tournaments and more.
