Our first event "Retro Gamers Unite" was an outstanding success, beyond all expectations! Over 550 local retro video game fans raised more than $1500 and 500lbs of donations for Winnipeg's Lighthouse Mission, the city's longest running homeless shelter!
 

Thank you to everyone who came and donated, to all the volunteers and our sponsors, whom without them we wouldn't be able to do any of this!

On April 25th we're holding (with PNP Games help) the first ever Amiibo's Free-for-All tournament. You'll be able to register your Amiibos at RGU2 to face off against other local trainers, winner takes all with grand prizes valuing over $75 each and a pretty slick "trophy" from Retro Gamers Winnipeg. Vendor Spotlight: Nerdhaven Collectables

Nerdhaven Collectables has been fuelling Winnipeg's geek-culture community, appearing at conventions all year round. Make sure to catch them at #RetroGamersUnite April 5th 2014. They'll be selling an array of items including some Japanese video game character figures from PVCs to Figams and Nendoroids (plus a whole lot more!). If you have any questions, just ask them  ...
