April 5th is almost coming! Our group's first retro video game event to support Lighthouse Mission, called #RetroGamersUnite.  We're busy planning and preparing, we're releasing info as soon as we can. Thank you to every one for their support! We'll continue to update our events page when we can and let everyone know on our Facbeook Page too. Buy your pre-sale tickets now!

This event is for retro video game fans, by retro video game fans! Everyone is welcome.

Here's some questions that have come our way..


1) The 2on2 Super Smash Tournament 
Yes it is still on! You can click here for details, but we're still finalizing our house rules for the event and hope to have everything completed March 1 for everyone to read. We've consulted many other Super Smash Melee players in winnipeg and have recruited a great judge and other consultants. This should be a fun event! The prizes will result from the cash pool as well as other items to be announced. 

2) Prizes
Throughout the day, our Hospitality Crew will be challenging and playing other attendees and organizing mini tournaments for many cool prizes including gift certificates, shirts and tickets for our many video game packages! Come on out, play for fun and have a great time! All our prizes will be announced this March!

3) Does the Bus get there!
Yes

4) Chip Damage hosts 3 retro video game tournaments for prizes!

Vendor Spotlight: Nerdhaven Collectables

Nerdhaven Collectables has been fuelling Winnipeg's geek-culture community, appearing at conventions all year round. Make sure to catch them at #RetroGamersUnite April 5th 2014. They'll be selling an array of items including some Japanese video game character figures from PVCs to Figams and Nendoroids (plus a whole lot more!). If you have any questions, just ask them  ...
